Frequently Asked Questions

Who can enroll in our Bible courses?

We have designed these RTBE courses to accommodate students from more than a dozen different Alabama campuses (elementary, intermediate, middle, and high schools). These classes are constitutionally acceptable as long as parents willingly grant permission for their student to leave campus and attend classes during school hours.

Check out our class calendar to explore times and locations.

Is RTBE Legal?

Yes, RTBE is completely legal. The courses adhere to the following constitutional guidelines: students must have parental permission, classes are conducted off public school premises, and they are privately funded.

This program supports the First Amendment rights of parents to direct their students' religious education while respecting the legal principles of the Establishment Clause.

Is RTBE Accredited?

Yes, RTBE classes are designed to comply with the Alabama Released Time Credit Act (Ala. Code § 16-1-20.6), which became law in 2019. This legislation allows local boards of education to implement policies for students to attend released time as an elective course, ensuring that eligible students can earn qualified elective course credit.

Is transportation provided?

Yes, we offer safe and free transportation to and from the off-campus education sites, which are typically local churches, community halls, or libraries. Contact our office for further information on transportation arrangements and schedules so your student can easily participate without stress or hassle.
